MAKE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERED TO VOTE

Make sure your voice is heard by registering to vote. Our ancesters struggled long and hard for that right. Youth issues won't be addressed so long as young people don't vote!! Use your vote to change your government.

The Deadline for Voter Registration extended to December 9th.
Minister Roche has acquiesced to Opposition demands and extended the electoral register deadline but there are fears that the additional time of just two weeks is too little and has come too late according to Fine Gael Environment Spokesman, Fergus O'Dowd TD "Fine Gael has long called for this deadline to be pushed back and it is welcome that Minister Roche has, under pressure, reversed his position and will now allow two extra weeks for corrections to be made.

The Extended Deadline for Voter Registration is Passed!
However, if your name is not on the Register when it comes into effect, you may still make a late application for inclusion in a supplement to the Register which is published prior to polling day. The Draft Register has been published and is available for examination online and at post offices, public libraries, Garda stations and council offices.

To vote, your name must be entered in the Register of Electors, which is compiled by your local authority. You must be at least 18 years of age on the day the Register comes into force (15 February). You are not automatically registered at 18 and must complete a form. All residents of the Republic, regardless of nationality or citizenship who are aged 18 or over can register.
